Church Office Summer Hours

The church hours for the summer will be Mon.-Fri. 8:30am-12:30pm. Please feel free to call the church office after these hours and someone will assist you.

Summer Appeal 2017

The funds raised in the 2017 Summer Appeal will be used for much needed technology updates at the church including:

-An improved website

-A better video capability for those who live stream our service

-A new financial system designed especially for churches which will make financial reporting easier

-A wireless lapel microphone so the pastor doesn’t have to hold the microphone during Communion or during the Children’s message

-An improved sound system in the sanctuary

Be sure to check your mail boxes for the letter which describes these projects in more detail and please consider participating.

There will also be a gathering on Monday, August 28th from 5:30pm-7pm to provide an update on the status of the appeal and to say thank you to those who gave towards the appeal.

Summer Appeal offering envelopes are also in the pews or you can mark any check Summer Appeal.

It’s that time of year again!

Save the date for our annual church picnic on Sunday June 11th, immediately following worship on the back field.  Come and enjoy a fun afternoon as we celebrate the start of summer!  We will be grilling up hamburgers and hot dogs, as well as providing cold water, soda, and juice.  Sign up in the parish hall to bring a side dish or dessert to accompany our spread.  Also, anyone who would like to volunteer to either set-up, work the grill, or clean-up, we’d greatly appreciate your help.  People with trucks are always needed to help transport tables, chairs, buckets, and coolers to the back field.  Please see Elders Andrea Chattaway or Cindy Schneider if you would like to help in any way.  Thank you in advance and we hope to see you all there!!

Wheelchairs needed in Columbia

If you know of any wheelchairs that are no longer needed, please contact Jairo Ramos, who works for our irrigation company, at 516-949-9904. He ships wheelchairs to Columbia to those that cannot afford them. They are very costly and he is willing to take rusty or even broken wheelchairs as well as ones in good condition. Thank you in advance for your support.

It’s that time of year again!

Save the date for our annual church picnic on Sunday June 11th, immediately following worship on the back field.  Come and enjoy a fun afternoon as we celebrate the start of summer!  We will be grilling up hamburgers and hot dogs, as well as providing cold water, soda, and juice.  Sign up in the parish hall to bring a side dish or dessert to accompany our spread.  Also, anyone who would like to volunteer to either set-up, work the grill, or clean-up, we’d greatly appreciate your help.  People with trucks are always needed to help transport tables, chairs, buckets, and coolers to the back field.  Please see Elders Andrea Chattaway or Cindy Schneider if you would like to help in any way.  Thank you in advance and we hope to see you all there!!

Christian Sympathy

Our sympathy goes to the family of Alfonso “Jack” David, Jr. who died on May 2, 2017. A service was held on Friday, May 12, at the Calverton National Cemetery.

Bike Rally

The Youth Group will once again host the cyclers coming through Westhampton Beach, with drinks and snacks in the church parking lot on Saturday, May 20th from 7am-3pm.
